  The masthead is right at the top in all of the magazine covers. All the magazine covers have coverlines or a coverline surrounding the central image (the women)  The central focus (the women in the magazines) are all placed in the middle therefore being the first thing the viewer sees.  The women in the magazine are holding strong eye contact with the audience, eye contact establishes a connection with the audience and also can be quite intimidating showing that they are fierce strong women.  Their attire is not for everyday and is somewhat unique which also shows that the women in the cover are bold and confident. The background is not in focus for all the covers which draws more attention to the central image. All three makeup looks feature vivid eye looks with dark colours to smoke out the eyes which creates dimension.  Two of the women are white however the third woman is of Nepali descent.
